MerchDigger — Privacy Policy

MerchDigger ("the app") is a mobile application that helps print-on-demand sellers view their own sales, royalties, advertising, and product data on their phone. This policy explains what data the app handles and how.

The short version

Your data stays on your device. MerchDigger has no backend server. We do not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any of your personal data or sales data. Everything the app displays is fetched by your device, over an encrypted connection, directly from the services you sign in to, and is cached only on your device.

Data the app handles on your device

• Login session: you sign in to your seller account inside a secure in-app browser window. The resulting session cookies are stored only in the app's private storage on your device and are used solely so the app can fetch your own data. We never see or receive your password or cookies.
• Sales, royalty, ads, and product data: fetched directly from your seller dashboard and ads console to your device, and cached locally so the app loads fast. This data never leaves your device.
• Settings: preferences such as theme, currency, and notification options are stored locally.

Network requests the app makes

• Requests to the seller dashboard and advertising console you signed in to, to fetch your own data.
• Anonymous requests to frankfurter.app for public currency exchange rates. No personal data is included in these requests.

What we do NOT do

• No data collection by the developer — we operate no servers and receive nothing from your device.
• No analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs.
• No selling or sharing of data with third parties.
• No account creation with us.

Notifications

If you enable sale alerts, the app periodically checks your sales data on your device and shows local notifications. This processing happens entirely on your phone.

Data deletion

All app data lives on your device. Signing out clears your session; uninstalling the app permanently deletes all cached data, settings, and cookies. Because we hold no copies, there is nothing for us to delete on any server.

Children

MerchDigger is a business tool intended for users aged 18 and over.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new "Last updated" date.
